According to some rumors the Eee Pad Tablet from ASUS will have a Tegra chipset from NVIDIA. It is probably that they will use a next generation processor on the new tablet. Thanks to NVIDIA technology the device will support 720p HD format and maybe in the future even the 1080p HD format.

Netbook News said that the new Eee Pad will not run on Windows CE or Mobile and it will be compatible with platforms that identify multi-touch devices like Windows 7 or Android 2.x but it will have a problem because it is not compatible with ARM chipsets like Tegra.

The design of the tablet it is probably the main reason the tablet is not ready yet. ASUS will launch the tablet after the end of March.
