New update for the Nook from Barnes & Noble

The electronic book reader Nook got a new software update that improves the speed and fixes some old bugs. With the new update the speed of the navigation along with the page turns has increased. Another thing that the update fixes is the page numbering, every page number being a lot clearer.
The new update is easy to install and you need to restart the device in order for the update to work; after this you will also notice an improvement in the lag of the interface.
Because the Nook is running on Google’s operating system, Android 1.5 the device cannot take full advantage of its dual-display and browsing, the OS being in the need of a better tweaking.
