Sony has recently announced the shipment of its new flagship Reader Daily Edition. It benefits from a seven-inch touchscreen, especially designed for magazines and newspapers. Moreover, a 3G connection provided by AT&T’s wireless network is used for content download from Sony’s Reader Store.
Reader Daily Edition will offer users unlimited access to the Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times and Chicago Tribune, for a start. New York Post, Boston Globe, International Herald Tribune and New York Times are planned for later on availability, along with other publications.
Sony’s new device pre-orders are already shipping; Reader Daily Edition is priced at $400. However, the online Sony store currently shows the gadget as on back-order for newer clients.
