Time Magazine: Motorola Droid is 2009’s best gadget

There have been lots of iPhone competitors, most of which have gone as they have been launched. There have been made efforts in order to surpass Apples mobile device. Some examples can be BlackBerry Storm and the Palm Pre, but these can’t be compared to the best competitor, which seems to be the Motorola Droid. This new smartphone seems to be so good, that Time Magazine offered it the title of “the best gadget of the year”.

Time Magazine’s “Top 10 Everything of 2009” has recently been released; Motorola Droid is in the top of the gadget category list. Motorola can therefore take a breath, since during the past years, the manufacturer has had many breakdowns.

The Droid has been picked as the best gadget of the year because many people like Google’s open-source smartphone OS, Android, as well as the many features of the smartphone.

Google Android has already been presented with HTC Dream and myTouch 3G and offers great mixture with Motorola’s hardware.

iPhone 3GS was the other smartphone to go in the top gadget list, but it was only placed on the fourth place.
