My Ripple is going to launch the Ripple Look Family mini PC in Korea, the company’s home market, before the end of the year.
As rumored, the new multimedia PC will be able to run 3D games and play high-definition videos, even though technical specifications are not quite high. It will run one of Intel’s most recent dual-cores, files will be stored on a high-capacity HDD and it will also have an integrated Intel GMA X4500 graphics chipset. The new PC seems to be more functional than the actual Ripple Look PC, which has been released this summer.
Ripple Look will now benefit from DirectX 10 API support and will be compatible with various file formats, such as MPEG2/4, VC-5 and H.264 high definition videos. There will be several input ports, even if their exact type hasn’t been mentioned yet. It is rumored that there will exist at least a VGA port and maybe a HDMI one, if taking into consideration the PC’s HD playback capabilities.
Even if the price and the exact release date of the PC haven’t been mentioned yet, it is already known that it will be available in red.
