Nokia Booklet 3G and LG X120 will be offered on sale, if bought along with mobile broadband service contracts, by Best Buy Mobile and RadioShack.

LG X120 is the company’s first netbook and is offered exclusively by RadioShack. It will be priced at $50 until December 24th, but, in order to benefit from this price, users also have to sign a two-year contract for mobile broadband data service from AT&T ($60 per month). Nokia Booklet 3G, offered by Best Buy Mobile, will follow almost the same rule, being priced at $200, which represents $400 less than the standard price.

LG X120 runs on a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU and offers 1GB of RAM and Windows XP Home OS, as well as a 160GB HDD and a 4400mAh six-cell battery. The 10.1-inch screen offers a 1024×576 resolution. Using the SmartOn Linux partition, which boots in just a few seconds, users can easily and quickly check their e-mails or do other simple computing tasks.

Nokia Booklet 3G also runs on the Atom processor, offering 1GB of RAM and a 1280×720 screen resolution (it has a 10.1-inch display). Even if the hard drive has only 120GB compared to LG’s X120, this netbook offers users Windows 7 OS. The battery autonomy seems to reach 12 hours, being somewhat unconventional, because of its 16 cells. The Booklet 3G only weighs about 2.8 pounds, also thanks to its machined aluminum chassis, which is no thicker than 0.8 inches.
